Well this month has sure had some ups and downs . I've drove the Little Dragon for the first time but I have found a big oil leak problem. Its the from the front seal . My neighbor Austin bought a red 84 also . Its been a good learning experience for both of us.
I will post More about Austin's Fiero on another page to come soon.

Interior Changes
Since I was changing the color of the interior it was easier to just take of the door panels to paint them and I took the time to put some extra foil insulation / sound deadening in the doors. It makes a big difference in the sound when the door closes it just seems more solid without any rattles. I have
never done this kind of work and got some pointers from a local shop that does nothing but interior work. One big thing is to use the right adhesive. 3M heavy duty spray adhesive. Most home centers carry this. Not the auto parts stores, so make sure you get this exact adhesive, don’t go cheap here or you will be very disappointed. On my previous project I did some visors with the cheap stuff and
one morning found them completely open like a clam shell. Now they have clips
holding them together. Yes I should redo them , Just can't get excited about the
Saturn anymore it's my primary transportation and it’s a Fing Saturn not to
exciting any way you look at it. The following gallery shows some before and
after pics of alot of the interior work to date

The oil leak , Not a happy camper about this one.
Took a 20 mile trip just to blow out the cobwebs and see if she was roadworthy , Well was not so much . When I got home lots of oil on the frame dripping on the driveway . Long story short the front oil seal is leaking . I had not noticed before because I had never pushed the engine to normal operating conditions tempatures . Obviously it had been leaking before from the old oil on the frame and what was left of the motor mount . Its what happens when a car has set for years . The Front oil seal has dryed out . It was very stiff and snapped in half when I took it out . Frankly I was surprized that it did not leak more than it did. After the seal replacement no leak runs or errors. Also replaced the motor mount that was also shot and cleaned the whole area up that was soaked in old oil.
